Blood donors may select one of the following awards (while supplies last): a lift ticket to Snow Summit and Bear Mountain, San Diego Zoo or Wild Animal Park passes and tickets to the Body Worlds exhibit at the San Diego Natural History Museum beginning in March. Personalities from Channel 933, Star 94.1, 101 KGB, KOGO, New Country 95.7 and XTRA Sports will be on site throughout the day. Donors will also be treated to delicious Pat & Oscar’s samplers.
Participants will also have the opportunity to join the National Marrow Donor Program® registry free of charge and learn how they can contribute to the San Diego Blood Bank’s Fleet of Lifesaving Vehicles Fund.
Anyone 17 or older, who weighs at least 110 pounds and is in good health, may be eligible to donate blood. Potential donors should have a good meal and plenty of fluids prior to donation. Call 1-800-4MY-SDBB or visit www.SanDiegoBloodBank.org.
