Moneytree Supports the San Diego Blood Bank

Moneytree, Inc. is helping to save lives every day in San Diego through their generous financial gifts to the San Diego Blood Bank.  Moneytree’s charitable support helps people like 14-year-old  Ireaun Burks who was diagnosed with Sickle Cell Anemia at birth, a blood disorder in which a lack of healthy red blood cells prevents the transport of oxygen throughout the body. It wasn't until her second birthday that Ireaun began to experience difficulty. Her first symptom was a swollen spleen that was eventually removed. “Without the support of caring organizations like Moneytree, the San Diego Blood Bank would not be able to meet the needs of all the patients we serve”, said Jackie Vella, San Diego  Blood Bank Foundation Director.  “We are very grateful to Moneytree and all our sponsors.”
