More Than 5,000 San Diegans Turn Out for Charger Blood Drive XXXI, Presented by San Diego County Credit Union

More than 5,000 people visited the Chargers Blood Drive XXXI today helping the San Diego Blood Bank collect more than 1,700 units of blood for local hospital patients. This total is in addition to the nearly 3,000 donors who gave blood during the Chargers Mania Blood Drive, which took place the week preceding today’s event. In addition, the blood bank’s Stem Cell Donor Center added over 120 names to the National Marrow Donor Be the Match registry.
