SAN DIEGO BLOOD BANK ANNOUNCES NEW NORTH COUNTY DONOR CENTER LOCATION

On Wednesday, July 18, the North County Donor Center of the San Diego Blood Bank will be relocated to Del Norte Plaza, 358 West El Norte Parkway, Suite J, Escondido, 92026.

The current location of the North County Donor Center will close permanently at 4 p.m. on

Saturday, July 14. The move will take place from Sunday, July 15, through Tuesday, July 17.

The hours of operation at the new North County Donor Center will be:

  • Tuesday – Thursday 10 AM – 6 PM
  • Friday – Saturday 8 AM – 4 PM

Anyone 17 or older, who weighs at least 110 pounds and is in good health may be eligible to donate blood.  A good meal and plenty of fluids are recommended prior to donation.
