SAN DIEGO BLOOD BANK, LA RAZA ATTORNEYS & MANA TEAM UP FOR BLOOD DRIVE AT WESTFIELD PLAZA BONITA

The San Diego Blood Bank is teaming up with La Raza Attorneys and MANA to hold a Blood Drive on Saturday, September 18th, from 9 am to 2:30 pm, at Westfield Plaza Bonita in National City.  The bloodmobile will be parked in the lot adjacent to the Jalapeno Fruit Bar and Grill.

All blood donors will be awarded a free Pat and Oscar’s meal card and free food from the Jalapeno Fruit Bar and Grill.  In addition, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., a crew from La Mejor FM 99.3 will be on site to award Aztec Football tickets and other station prizes to blood donors. 

Appointments can be made for the drive or donors can walk-in during the hours of 9 am to 2:30 pm – everyone is welcome to donate.Anyone who is at least 17 years old, in generally good health and weighs at least 110 pounds may qualify to donate blood.  To schedule a blood donation appointment, call 1-800-4MY-SDBB or visit www.sandiegobloodbank.org.
