San Diego Gas & Electric continues with their visionary charitable support of the San Diego Blood Bank

San Diego Gas & Electric continues with their visionary charitable support of the San Diego Blood Bank by supporting the Blood Bank’s Disaster Readiness Blood Storage Program.  “When disaster strikes, the San Diego Blood Bank must have the capacity to store large amounts of blood quickly”, said Jackie Vella, Foundation Director of the San Diego Blood Bank.  “SDG&E understands there is no substitute for donated blood. When a patient needs blood, his life depends on the stored blood we have available.”  The San Diego Blood Bank and the patients they serve, are grateful for the generous support of San Diego Gas & Electric.  Their gifts are saving lives every day throughout San Diego County.
