STAR 94.1 JOINS THE SAN DIEGO BLOOD BANK AT THE MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY BLOOD DRIVE IN BALBOA PARK’S HALL OF CHAMPIONS MONDAY, JANUARY 16

Star 94.1 and the San Diego Blood Bank will honor Martin Luther King Day with a special blood drive at Balboa Park’s Hall of Champions, 2131 Pan American Plaza, on Monday, January 16, from 10 a.m. to 3:30p.m.  Wells Fargo and Grossmont Healthcare District are sponsoring the drive.

The first 50 blood donors at the drive will be awarded a choice of Snow Summit or Bear Mountain Lift Tickets, Disney on Ice Tickets or lunch at Casa de Reyes in Old Town while supplies last. In addition, Delana and Star 94.1’s Prize Patrol will be on site to award prizes to blood donors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Blood donors must be over age 17, in good health and weigh more than 110 lbs.  A good meal and plenty of fluids are recommended prior to blood donation.
