SAN DIEGO BLOOD BANK CELEBRATES CHARGERS MANIA WITH A CHARGER GIRLS TAILGATE PARTY AT THE UPAS STREET CENTER ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 16.

All donors awarded voucher redeemable for a commemorative Chargers Blood Drive T-shirt & VIP autograph line wristband at Chargers Blood Drive on Tuesday, November 20!

The San Diego Blood Bank is gearing up for Chargers Blood Drive XXIX by declaring Chargers Mania from Tuesday, November 13, through Monday, November 19.  Donors who give blood at one of the blood bank's six neighborhood donor centers or bloodmobiles during this time frame will be awarded a voucher that may be redeemed at the Chargers Blood Drive for a commemorative T-shirt and a VIP wristband for the Chargers autograph line.  Donors will also have the opportunity to purchase an entry to win the 2008 Honda CRV, donated by the Honda Dealers of San Diego County, being given away at the Chargers drive.

The highlight of Chargers Mania will be a special Charger Girls Tailgate Party at the San Diego Blood Bank's main donor center, 440 Upas Street, Hillcrest, on Friday, November 16, from noon to 2pm. Donors can meet select members of the Charger Girls squad and enjoy ballpark style refreshments and music.

The Chargers Blood Drive, presented once again this year by San Diego County Credit Union, will take place on Tuesday, November 20, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., at the Town and Country Convention Center in Mission Valley. In addition to the blood drive, the San Diego Blood Bank's Stem Cell Donor Center is offering free bone marrow testing for all participants at the drive on November 20, which enables them to join the National Marrow Donor Program registry.
