Commemorative T-Shirt Awarded At Comic-Con Blood Drive Thurs, July 24, Through Sun, July 27

DRAWING ALSO PLANNED FOR CAPTAIN AMERICA-THEMED HONDA ELEMENT 

The San Diego Blood Bank will “draw” donors at the Comic-Con International’s 32nd Annual Robert A. Heinlein Memorial Blood Drive at the San Diego Convention Center, Thursday, July 24, through Saturday, July 26, from 9 am to 6 pm, and Sunday, July 27, from 10 am to 3 pm.  The drive will be held at the San Diego Marriott Hotel’s Santa Rosa Room.

Participants will be awarded a Comic-Con goodie bag, a special limited edition Comic-Con T-shirt, and a Diamond Toys Action Figure while supplies last. 

Anyone 17 or older, who weighs at least 110 pounds and is in good health, may be eligible to donate blood.  Potential donors should have a good meal prior to donation. 

In addition, for the first time this year the San Diego Blood Bank and the Easy Going Honda Dealers of San Diego County are teaming up to offer comic-book fans the opportunity to win a one-of-a-kind “Captain America” themed Honda Element, custom designed by Marvel.

Anyone may purchase online entries to win the “Captain America” Element between now and Sunday, July 27, by visiting SanDiegoBloodBank.org.  Proceeds will help refurbish one of the blood bank’s aging bloodmobile.
