Rock 105.3 Awards Ticket to Avenged Sevenfold with Buckcherry Concert & Discounted K1 Speed Carlsbad Race at Annual Friday the 13th Blood & Bone Marrow Drive

Rock 105.3 is making a difference in our community on Friday, March 13, at their annual Friday the 13th Blood and Bone Marrow Drive at K1 Speed, 6212 Corte Del Abeto #100, Carlsbad 92011. This San Diego Blood Bank drive will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and is open to the public.

The first 105 blood donors will be awarded one ticket to Avenged Sevenfold with Buckcherry at the San Diego Sports Arena on Friday, April 17th, K1 Speed Carlsbad will offer blood donors a discount of $13 per race (new racers will add a $5 registration fee) which they may use during the following week. In additon, there will be refreshments provided by Mondo's Baja Mexican for blood donors. 

Due to the popularity of this event, donors will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis.  No appointments will be available. Blood donors must be over age 17, in good health and weigh more than 110 lbs.  A good meal and plenty of fluids are recommended prior to blood donation.  Potential bone marrow donors join the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) ® registry with a simple cheek swab.  You qualify to join the NMDP ® registry if you:           

• Are between the ages of 18 and 60           

• Have no history of asthma, cancer, diabetes, neck or back problems, heart or circulatory disease            

• Are within 20% of the ideal weight for your height and age set by the NMDP®

• Are willing to donate to anyone who needs a transplant
