ALL BLOOD DONORS WILL BE ELIGIBLE TO WIN ONE OF 50 PAIRS OF FIELD LEVEL PADRES TICKETS
The San Diego Blood Bank and the San Diego Padres announced today the 14th annual Padres Blood Drive will be held on Friday, June 18, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Hall of Champions, 2131 Pan American Plaza in Balboa Park, 92101.
Blood donors have an opportunity to meet Padres players and all blood donors will receive a Padres t-shirt, pennant and Padres schedule ‘window cling.’ In addition, all blood donors will be entered into a drawing for one of 50 pair of Padres field level tickets for a future game.
Potential bone marrow donors may also join the Be The Match registry of the National Marrow Donor Program® at this blood drive free of charge with a simple cheek swab. To qualify to join the registry all you need is to be between the ages of 18 and 60; be willing to donate to any patient in need and meet the health guidelines.
Anyone at least 17 years old, in good health, and weighing at least 110 pounds may be eligible to donate blood. A good meal is recommended prior to donation.
