FOURTH ANNUAL BARONA'S "$1,000,000 QUACKER DASH" MADE A BIG SPLASH!

The San Diego Blood Bank's fourth annual Barona's "$1,000,000 Quacker Dash" took place Thursday May 14, 2008 at the Wave Waterpark in Vista, CA.

San Diegans everywhere "adopted" little yellow rubber duckies for $5 each. Thousands of "Quackers" spilled into a huge pond and "dashed" to the finish line, competing for great prizes.

Congratulations to:

• Jim Pennock (Quacker #10107) who won free gas for a year!
• M. Fourtenbary (Quacker #4131) who won a Disneyworld Vacation
• Ann Wakefield (Quacker #1247) who won a Barona Valley Ranch Getaway Package

There was no $1,000,000 winner this year.

This years event raised nearly $80,000 for the lifesaving programs and services of the San Diego Blood Bank!
