Performance Ratio

The performance ratio is a statistic used to rate the performance of an organization for a single blood drive or across multiple blood drives. The performance ratio is determined by dividing the amount of donations received during a single blood drive by the amount of eligible people an organization has to donate. In the event that the performance ratio is calculated across multiple blood drives, the ratio is determined for each blood drive and then all of the ratios are added together.

It is possible for the performance ratio to exceed 100% because organizations can recruit friends, family members, and other people considered to be outside an organizations general population to particpate in their blood drives. This can be a great way to increase the organizations performance ratio.
