KFROG INVITES COMMUNITY TO BLOOD DRIVE AT PROMENADE MALL IN TEMECULA, SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 2

FIRST 92 BLOOD DONORS AWARDED SNOW SUMMIT LIFT TICKETS

The first 92 blood donors at an open to the public blood drive at Promenade Mall, 40820 Winchester Rd., in Temecula, Saturday, February 2, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., will be awarded a lift ticket for Snow Summit.  The bloodmobile will be parked in the mall parking lot between JC Penny and Sears.

Blood donors will also be awarded a KFROG t-shirt and other prizes.

In addition, donors are encouraged to join the Valley Blood Service’s Donor Difference loyalty program, where members are entitled to great benefits, including the ability to track their total cholesterol, blood pressure and pulse.  Members also earn points for each donation that can be redeemed on the blood bank’s online store.

Blood donors must be over age 17, in good health and weigh more than 110 lbs.  A good meal and plenty of fluids are recommended prior to blood donation.  For more information about the Valley Blood Services, please call 951-696-4067 or visit ValleyBloodServices.org.

Valley Blood Services serves, a division of the San Diego Blood Bank, the residents of Southwest County, and is the primary supplier of blood to Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Medical Centers. It is located in the Murrieta Spectrum Center at 25115 Madison Avenue, suite 105, facing Los Alamos Road. The San Diego Blood Bank has been the primary blood provider to Southwest County hospitals since 1990.
