What is Chargers Drive 38?

Blood collected at Chargers Drive 38 will help hospital patients in the San Diego community and beyond. Blood donations are especially critical at this time of year because donations often decrease during the holidays while the need for more blood often can increase.

Chargers Drive 38 is presented by the San Diego County Credit Union.

Town & Country Convention Center in Mission Valley

When will Chargers Drive 38 be?

Tuesday, Nov. 22 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Should I note any other times?

The blood drive kicks off at 8 a.m. and the End Zone entertainment area opens at 9 a.m.

How much will Chargers Drive 38 cost?

Admission is $5 per person. Blood donors may request a refund of their admission price after they donate. Blood donors also receive a Chargers Drive 38 shirt, VIP wristband for the Chargers players autograph line, and parking validation. Parking cost at the hotel for other attendees is $4 per hour ($8 maximum).

What if I can’t donate at Chargers Drive 38? Can I donate beforehand?

You can give blood at Chargers Mania, which kicks off Nov. 6 and ends Nov. 21. Donate at any SD Blood Bank Donor Center or mobile drive during that time and receive a voucher to be redeemed at Chargers Drive 38 for a shirt and VIP wristband for the Chargers players autograph line.
