To be eligible to donate blood, you must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 114 pounds, and be in general good health.

About the Artist 

Steve Breen: From his high school paper to The San Diego Union-Tribune, Steve Breen earned a Pulitzer Prize in 1998 for editorial cartooning. Breen’s editorial cartoons are published with The San Diego Union-Tribune, are nationally syndicated, and regularly appear in The New York Times, USA Today, Newsweek and US News and World Report. His comic strip "Grand Avenue" appears in more than 150 newspapers across the country. The California native currently resides in San Diego with his family and was thrilled to have his artwork featured on a San Diego Blood Bank T-shirt. Thank you, Steve, for spreading awareness about the importance of blood donation. (Source)
