- Safety measures are in place. Blood drives are tightly controlled environments with a limited number of people gathering at one time.
- All donors and staff are required to wear face coverings.
- We are currently deferring ALL DONORS who have come into close contact with any individual with COVID-19 for 28 days from the date of last exposure, including healthcare workers. See all COVID-19 related deferrals.

Your donation could help save the lives of people like Carter Santos (pictured) who has received multiple blood transfusions during his treatment for leukemia. Carter is in remission but is still undergoing treatment and will continue to need blood transfusions in the future.
With many organizations not able to host blood drives right now, we need our community to come out and save lives with us. Thank you, San Diego Padres, for stepping up to the plate to make sure there is an adequate blood supply for local patients—at a time when it’s most needed.
