San Diego Blood Bank Accreditations & Licenses

San Diego Blood Bank has a proud history of serving the Southern California community. We work hard to ensure the safety of our donors. San Diego Blood Bank is licensed and registered with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), licensed with the State of California Department of Public Health, and accredited by the Association for the Advancement of Blood & Biotherapies (AABB) and the College of American Pathologists (CAP).

SDBB laboratories hold current CMS Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) certificates of accreditation and waiver, and are licensed as clinical laboratories with the California Department of Public Health and hold clinical laboratory permits with the states of Maryland and Pennsylvania.
